Two Saturdays in November were reserved to go to the Traditions of America Silver Spring 55+ Community to perform battery change out on well over 100 residential homes. This annual event shows the dedication and commitment we have in our community to insure working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are present and their batteries are replaced. The fire company and TOA homeowners group have collaborated each year to make sure that everyone had the opportunity to take part in this event. The TOA is by far the busiest residential development call volume wise within our response area. We appreciate the opportunity each year! Thanks to D/C Horning for spearheading again this year!!
