| At 16:26 Monday evening, the township companies were sent to a local car dealership in the 6600blk of Carlisle Pike for a Fire Alarm. E33 (with 5) responded. Units arrived on scene at 16:32 at the same time as Chief 131 (Grove) was advised that an employee was on site having trouble resetting the alarm. Squad 31 took side "A" while E33 took side "D". Crews made entry with Chief 133 reporting smoke in the building and stretched from E33. E31 set up to supply E33. The response added Tower 29 and Squad 33. Crews investigated finding no fire, but a heater malfunction. Tower 29 set up on side "C" and went to the roof to check exhaust pipes. Squad 33 (with 2) staged on side "C' at the hydrant and flushed it to confirm in working order. After confirming all secure, units cleared the scene just before 17:00. This was the 4th of 6 calls for the day. |
