| Company 33 responded to seven (7) calls on Sunday during the storm. One (1)Fire Alarm (canceled) and six (6) medical assist calls were handled. U233 (with the plow) was kept busy, not only with the medical calls, but cleaning up around the fire station property. The Utility was used to remove two stuck EMS vehicles during the storm as responders worked together. At the Station, meals were provided for a late breakfast and hearty dinner. Additional work around the station will be completed on Monday as the storm moves away. Monday, winds are predicted to increase which will allow blowing snow and treacherous roadways. With the cold temperatures expected, the snow isn't going anywhere soon. Remember, if you have a fire hydrant close to your property, please consider shoveling at least 3 feet around the hydrant. |
