| Shortly after 07:00 Saturday morning, Companies 33 and 31 were sent to the area of MM53.2 SB for an accident involving an overturned vehicle, reported to be on fire. Squad 33 (6), Traffic, and Chief 33 responded. Chief 33 was advised of occupants out of the vehicle and the vehicle rolled into the woods on fire. While passing the incident in the NB lane, smoke was visible. Company 33 used the crossover at MM54 to come back south. Both Squad 31 and Squad 33 arrived together, with Squad 31 placing one handline into service and Squad 33 taking patient care. The fire was quickly contained. Once EMS arrived, care was transferred and crews assisted with preparing the patient for transport. All units cleared the scene at 07:42 with PSP remaining on scene. |
