Mother Nature has washed out a good bit of our normal parking. We have secured off site parking in a parking lot on the east end of New Kingstown off Main Street. We will be running busses back and forth all day. We understand that this will take some time to transport, but it is the best option to try to accommodate parking. We will park PLACARDED handicap vehicles and 4x4 pickup trucks at the firehouse until the grass field is full. All other vehicles should park at the auxiliary parking lot where the busses will be running people to and from the firehouse. You will be permitted to drop people and tents off at the firehouse and then proceed to the auxiliary lot (this will get congested, our fire police will be directing, please be PATIENT). All canopy tents will continue to be set up in grass field and MUST be secured into the ground (calling for some wind tomorrow). We have painted walkways (or did have at least) through "tent city", please leave those open for emergency purposes. Also, we have rearranged our layout so if you cannot find something you are looking for, please ask. We ask that everyone be patient, we are adjusting on the fly with the layout and the parking due to the weather. As always please be respectful of our neighbors, they allow us to host this event and we need their support. We have re-arranged most of the layout for those of you that have been here before. Almost all of the ticket sales (gun bowls, King Tuts, electronics, grills, etc) will be in the apparatus bay. The food will remain at the pavilion. The "main tent" is still in the same location. Registration tent will be the first tent off the apparatus ramp and is located on black top. EZ Up Tent Village will remain in the grass so dress appropriately for MUD. We received over 4" of rain today (Friday) so please dress warm and wear appropriate clothing. We are going to make the best of this and expect your patience; our members have been working hard this week and then today turned everything around in order to accommodate YOU.
