| At 4:56 a.m. on Saturday, the Township fire companies responded to Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 56.1 for a reported vehicle fire. Engine 33 with six personnel, Tanker 33, Traffic 33, and Chief 133 responded to the incident. Chief 133 was notified of multiple reports about the fire and arrived to find an active vehicle fire. Engine 33 deployed one hose line, and the crew from Engine 31 provided assistance at the scene. Both Traffic units controlled one travel lane past the scene, once the fire was under control. All units cleared the scene at 5:40 a.m. |
