Evening Grass Fire

On Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m., township fire companies were dispatched to Green Hill Road in Silver Spring Township. Brush, Tanker, Utility, and Chief 133 responded to the call. Upon arrival, crews found several unattended burn barrels on fire along with a small area of grass burning. Engine 31 was placed available before arriving on scene. Firefighters used the booster line from Brush 33 to extinguish the fire. All units cleared the scene after approximately 25 minutes.
