Engine 33 and crew of 5 attended the parade and housing ceremony for the former Engine 33, now serving Citizen's Fire Co. #1 of Palo Alto, PA. Engine 33 was awarded 1st Place Best Appearing and Equipped Engine (1500 GPM and Under), as well as a judges award for Furthest Distance Traveled. Engine 612, a 1998 E-One Pumper, was originally purchased and operated by Good Intent Fire Company #1 of Pottsville, PA. It was purchased by NKFC in 2004. It ran first out for all fires and structure related calls for 12 years until being replaced by the Current Engine 33, a 2019 Pierce Enforcer, in 2019. Citizen's Fire Co. purchased the 1998 E-One to replace a 1987 Hahn Pumper. Congratulations Citizen's Fire Co! May that engine serve your department well! |
