Crews were sent at 17:45 to Wild Rose Lane for a House Fire. The response was upgraded to a working fire and tanker task force added. Crews arrived with fire through the roof. Squad 33 was first arriving (returning from an accident), E31 and E33 arrived together with E33 reverse laying to Sample Bridge Rd. Squad 33 placed the deck gun into service using half a tank of water then advanced a handline into the second floor. A second line was used on the exterior. E31 supplied Squad 33 and also advanced several lines. The 5” Siamese connection was used successfully in water supply with Tankers connecting in to supply E33 which pumped water to E31. Crews never ran out of water even though this was a rural area. The closest hydrant was located approximately 1500 ft away from the scene on the south side of I81. Thanks to West Shore Bureau of Fire E213 and Penn Township T50 for covering Station 33 and assisting with cleanup. A total of 22 members responded from Company 33. 1100 feet of hoses were used on this incident. Pictures to the rightful owners.
