Company 33 started a steady run day at 07:04 responding to the 300blk of Hogestown Rd for a Carbon Monoxide Investigation. MP33 handled this incident with Company 31. At 08:18, Squad and Chief 33 responded to the PA Turnpike EB MM233.7 for an accident involving a passenger car which struck a Turnpike attenuator truck. Crews provided fluid control and used the floor jack in order to move the vehicle which blocked a partial lane to allow traffic to flow. At 14:15, Engine and Squad 33 responded to the 200blk of Bent Creek Bv for smoke inside the building. E33 was first arriving and sent its crew to investigate. The incident was scaled back by Chief 31 after finding the smoke originated from a backup generator. The final call for the day was at 15:39 sending the Engine, Squad, and Tanker to the 906blk of Nixon Dr in Monroe Township for an electric heater on fire inside. This incident was scaled back by Chief 25 and Company 33 was placed available shortly after arriving on scene. There have been 15 calls just 5 days into October.
