Squad 33 (with 5) assisted Co. 25 and R45 with an accident involving entrapment at Lisburn Rd and Old Stonehouse Rd this morning. Squad 33 was given the assignment to use the winch to pull the pickup truck away from the passenger car in order for the driver to be extricated. The Squad Crew split for the task and to assist with extrication. Crews were already working on the passenger side of the car; once the truck was moved work began on the drivers side to remove the door to confirm the driver was not pinned by his legs. Crews were then able to move the patient out the passenger side to be packaged for transport. Fire and EMS worked well together and cleared within 45 mins. Pictures from Co. 25
