While E33 was committed on a gas leak in Country Manor, MP33 (with 5) assisted Co. 41 and 39 on a Brush Fire to the rear of 1153 Harrisburg Pike. Crews had trouble locating access points originally so 2 crew members of the Mini started to walk in to pinpoint the origin. They then directed the Mini back through an overgrown field; 2 additional members then scouted ahead of the Mini. Once at a tree line, the crew chainsaw cut ahead of the booster line for better access. MP33 eventually supplied nearly 700 feet of forestry line from its location for the left flank and 600 gallons of water. Brush 41 made access from a second location to work the right flank of the fire. UTV25 assisted with mop up. The fire burned the size of about 2 football fields. Tanker 33 (with 2) was requested to the scene but not used. Crews were on scene just over an hour. Thanks to the members who covered the station and assisted getting hose and equipment cleaned including the Mini when we returned. E33 was committed at there scene for over 2 hours working with UGI.
