Crews from New Kingstown and Carlisle Fire Rescue were alerted at 03:18 for truck brakes on fire on the PA Turnpike at MM228.3 Westbound. C33 was updated while enroute of fire extending into the trailer. E33 (with 4) and T33 made the response with Sq33 (with 3) added on once additional members responded from home. C33 arrived with a working fire and fire into the trailer. The driver had the truck disconnected. E33 pulled both bumper lines and knocked the fire quickly. E245 provided manpower to assist. Crews were on scene over an hour insuring the fire was out. The incident was released to the Turnpike and H&S Towing.
