At 07:43, the Township Companies were sent to Team One Auto in the 6400blk of Carlisle Pike for a Commercial Fire Alarm. Squad 33 (with 5) responded. E31 arrived with normal conditions and while investigating reported smoke in the building. Squad 33 arrived sent its crew to force entry and advanced E31’s line into the garage portion of the building finding a small fire and made a quick knock. Once the overhead doors were opened crews found the origin to be a used waste oil heater being used to heat the building. The first alarm and working fire dispatch had been sent but the box was reduced quickly. E237 had their main set to the building and handled ventilation. Crews cleared the scene in less than one hour. Always be ready to go to work and treat each alarm as a fire!!
