Company 33 responded to 5 incidents Wednesday. At 14:27, Squad 33 (with 6) responded on the working fire as RIT to Creek Rd in West Pennsboro Township. Squad 33 established RIT on Side A, threw multiple ladders, and assisted where needed. The Squad was on scene several hours. At 15:54, Traffic 33 was requested as part of Team 800 (Special Fire Police Team) to assist with Traffic Control on Cumberland Blvd in Camp Hill. This was considered a major incident due to high volume traffic area. Traffic 33 was out over 6 hour on this incident. At 17:08, E33 (with 4) responded to a fire alarm in 31's first due. Squad 33 (with 6) added on "from the pike" while returning from the fire in West Pennsboro. Both units were canceled before arriving. At 17:56, Mp33 (5) and T33 (2) responded to Carolina Way for a tan bark fire. The last call of the day sent Squad 33 (6) and T33 (2) on the working fire on Shatto Dr in North Middleton Township. Squad 33 was the RIT and T33 added for water supply. Squad 33 again threw multiple ladders to the structure and assisted where needed while maintaining situational awareness around the scene. Squad 33 returned just before 21:00. While these incidents were being handled, a large crew was maintained at Station 33 to respond to additional calls if needed as well as assisting getting tools and equipment ready for service when the rigs returned.
