Several years ago a pool table was donated to the fire company. Over the last few weeks, members have been working on some updates to it including a new felt surface. After removing the old cover, an inspection tag was found showing that the table was originally inspected in 1969. A pool table was once to focal point in many fire stations, including New Kingstown. It’s nice to know due to some talented members that we can continue the tradition of “breaking balls” the old-fashioned way!!
