At 06:31, Squad 33 was sent on the reported smoke in building in the 100 blk of E Main St. The incident was upgraded to first alarm while members were gearing up. Squad (with 4) responded and were tasked with throwing ground ladders and making a size up; crews were operating in the rear of the building on 2 floors. Utility 133 responded with 2 more RIT members. Crews monitored operations until being stood down. Squad 33 crew assisted with opening up and overhaul before clearing the scene just over 3 hours later. E33 (with 4) responded to an accident on Sunnyside Dr (in place of the Squad). E33 was canceled just before arriving by Chief 34.
