Tanker 33 assisted Hampden EMA late Friday evening into early Saturday morning shuttling water for the chillers at West Shore and Penn State Hampden Hospitals due to the water outage. Several loads of water were hauled from a designated available hydrant. Tanker 33 responded as part of a "Tanker Task Force" just after 07:00 into Hampden Township for a reported smoke in the building. With the low or non-existent water pressure, this also affects the hydrant water as well; Cumberland County 9-1-1 had procedures in place to add the Tanker Task Force on incidents where the potential of a water supply would be needed.
