Saturday, March 29th the Fire Company had its very first "Awards Program" at the Fire Station. The program, separated for the first time from the annual banquet, provided a time for members to receive recognition for their past years service to the fire company and the community. Members were encouraged to wear their Class A or highest Class uniform they had. The following awards were announced:

40 Responding Members attended the program in Uniform, along with family members, and in typical New Kingstown fashion was interrupted by a fire call. Members returned and were able to get a group picture afterwards.
