T - Thaw your turkey at a safe temperature 40 degrees or below
U - Use extra caution when frying a turkey
R - Remember to clean all cooking surfaces regularly
K - Keep children away from hot surfaces and sharp objects
E - Ensure your turkey has been cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees
Y - Your smoke detector should be tested prior to cooking
