Chief Brown has completed the November Report for the Township Emergency Services and it is attached within this post. It should be noted that combine call totals from both fire companies continue to climb across the township and manpower totals have decreased over this year. Silver Spring Community Fire Company is being boasted by paid firefighter staffing, in addition to their paid driver/operator, during certain daylight hours while New Kingstown is maintaining just paid driver/operators at this time. New Kingstown saw the lowest "on apparatus" total in November, with 4.8 members - this total is calculated manually and only takes into account this first responding engine or squad counting "air pack" qualified members. The average manpower per call total is just that - all "riding" eligible members that respond to calls. These reports take a good time to get together and are distributed to key township staff including the supervisors. We feel that sharing data, as well as an trends, is very important - as it should be.
