Tonight during the monthly fire company meeting, Traffic 33 was dispatched to assist with traffic control at scene of a tractor trailer fire on I81 near Exit 49 in South Middleton Township. Traffic 33 arrived and assist Carlisle Fire Police with closing the on ramp to Exit 49 as well as controlling one lane past the Incident scene. Traffic 33 was out for 3.5 hours. Thanks to these dedicated men who volunteer to keep not only police, fire and ems crews safe, but those in the towing services as well. We appreciate all that you do!
