| On March 14th, New Kingstown Fire Company held its 2nd Annual Awards Ceremony.
This ceremony is held independent of the Annual Banquet, and serves as a formal celebration of the outstanding performance and achievements by members of New Kingstown Fire Company.
Annual Awards:
The recipients are nominated by their peers to recognize their outstanding contributions to the betterment of NKFC, its members, and the community.

Robert E. Horning Sr. Award:
This award may be given to an individual who has exemplified outstanding dedication to mentoring, training, and educating fellow members through the effective use of their knowledge and experience.
Being the first year for this defined purpose, the award was presented to Robert Horning Jr.
Samuel P. Sheets Award:
This award may be given to an individual in recognition for effecting a successful rescue of a trapped, stranded, or injured victim, by skillfully applying their fire service knowledge, training, and expertise.
Being the first year for this award, it was presented to Samuel D. Sheets.
Presidents Award:
Awarded to The Fire Police for their hard work and dedication to keeping our incident scenes safe.
