| At 7:56 a.m., Engine 33 with a crew of six, Traffic 33, and Chief 233 were dispatched to a reported mobile home fire in the 900 block of West Trindle Road. With a full crew available at the station, Engine 33 responded immediately. Engine 33 arrived on scene with Squad 29 at 8:03 a.m.
Typically, the second arriving engine would establish the water supply. However, due to reports of possible entrapment, Engine 33 proceeded directly to the scene alongside the first arriving crew to assist. The crew began searching the residence and aided with a backup hose line on the B/C side of the structure. Engine 33 supplied its water to Squad 29 until a water supply was established.
It was soon determined that the occupant had safely exited the building. Response crews continued their efforts to bring the fire under control and conduct overhaul operations. All units cleared the scene at 9:41 a.m.
Landisburg Fire Company provided coverage by transferring an engine with a crew of six until local units returned. |
