Wednesday afternoon at 14:37, Squad 33 (6) responded as RIT for the upgraded incident involving a House on Fire. Squad 33 sent its crew forward to assist where needed. Due to live power lines down, crews at scene were limited with what normally could be done, until Power Company crews arrived and ensured the power was safely disconnected. Despite the urgency of the incident and an active fire, all crews at scene functioned under the established Command structure which resulted in a safe and effective operation. Squad 33 was on scene nearly 2 hours; Station 33 remained staffed during the incident. Pictures from Curt Werner.
