As the New Kingstown Fire Company moves forward to search viable apparatus options for replacing the current Mini Pumper, we’ve settled on a vehicle similar to the Boston Unit pictured. The new unit will provide us with advanced capabilities along with all wheel drive, off road, high water emergency, urban interface, and a manpower support unit. The chassis will be a Acela Monterra 6x6, 22” ground clearance, 46” tires, and a caterpillar/Allison power package, skid pump and tank, lift gate, and wagon cover. There is no doubt that this unit will be the “pride of the fleet” once received and enters into service! No delivery date has been established!
